CJ Evans, a professional freelance drummer/percussionist from south-east London. In Sep 2005 CJ moved to Brighton to follow his dream of drumming professionally, starting with a years study at BIMM. Amongst a whole host of various work for CJ his main passion was writing, recording and touring original music, most notably with UK rock band The Crave.

CJ's extensively gigged and toured across the UK, Europe, Russia, and USA performing at prestigious venues and arenas alongside the likes of Deep Purple, Status Quo, Daughtry, Three Doors Down, LifeHouse, BuckCherry, Flyleaf, Justin Hawkins (The Darkness), Paul Weller, Shinedown, Grouplove, Young Guns, Portishead, John Newman, Bombay Bicycle Club and AWOLNATION.

CJ's also played on renowned festival stages including Rock AM Ring, Sonisphere, Download, Rock En Seine, LoveBox, Radio 1 Big Weekend, Citadel, Secret Garden Party, Isle Of Wight, British Summer Time, Wireless, V Festival and Summerfest to name but a few.

As an accomplished studio player CJ has recorded many albums and EP's to date. In Sep 2013 CJ moved to London to further pursue a career in session work and the varied opportunities of the music business. He's a friendly and energetic drummer who's more than comfortable playing to click, incorporating electronic drum/percussion and using playback systems. CJ has a strong foundation and understanding in Rock, Pop, HipHop, Funk, Blues, Reggae and Electronic music but is always listening and learning from new influences.
